I have played paintball for 5 years and reffed at a paintball field for 1 year. I have been to local events, and have been a pantball-aholic for the last 3 years. On the field I sneak like a ninja, and scream like a girl. Teammates believe I have magical powers to talk to the trees, and a gravitational feild that wards off or sucks in all incoming paintballs; more often the latter. I played for Double Down in 2008 and due to a busy reffing schedule left the team. I joined Double Down again in 2009 and am very excited to be back.

My first paintball experience was in doors in Calgary. We wore workers coveralls with face shields and the arena was a bunch of shipping pallets setup in a crude maze-like structure. We had to squat the whole game. The next day I could walk upstairs but not down them because I squatted too much. It was kind of fun, but not worth the pain. My second paintball experience was outdoors with Double Down and at that moment I was convinced this was the sport, and the team, I was looking for.
